Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
All my life I’ve craved assurance
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
so knowing You are mine is glorious, indeed.
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
What an overwhelming gift—
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.
to be Your heir—Your child.

and every line—from Sunday school to today—

Perfect submission, all is at rest,
When I surrender to You, there is peace
I in my Savior am happy and blest,
and such joy—You are mine,
Watching and waiting, looking above,
and I am Yours.  I look up
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.
and You immerse me in Your love.
